Rozah ko arabi me Soom kehte hain. iske lafzi ma'any kisi cheez se ruk jaana aur usko tark kar dena hai. Shara'ee istilaah me soom (Rozah) se muraad ye hai k aadmi Allaah Ta'aala ki ibaadat ki niyat se tuloo fajar se ghuroob-e-aaftaab tak khaane-peene aur jinsi zaroorat poori karne se ruka rahe.
Niyat asal me dil ke iraadah ka naam hai , zabaan se niyat karna zaroori nahi hai , albatta karlen to behtar hai. Ramzaan ke shuru hone se chand roz qabl Ramzaan ki tayyaariyaan karna hi poore Maheene ki niyat ke liye kaafi hai , agarche rozah ki mustaqil niyat karna behtar hai .
TARJUMA: A Imaan waalon ! Tum par Rozah farz kiya gaya jis tarah tum se pehli ummaton par farz kiya gaya t tha taaki Tum Muttaqee ban jaao.
Quraan-e-Kareem ke is e'alaan ke mutaabiq rozah ki farziyat ka buniyaadi maqsad logon ki zindagi me taqwaa paida karna hai.Taqwaa asal me Allaah Ta'aala se khauf-o-rija'a ke saath Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ke tareeqe ke mutaabiq mamnoo'aat se bachne aur awaamir par amal karne ka naam hai . Rozah se khwaahishaat ko qaabu karne ka malka paida hota hai aur yahi taqwaa ya'ani Allaah ke khauf ki bunyaad hai. Rozah ke zariye ham ibaadaat , muaamlaat , Akhlaaqiyaat aur Muaashrat gharz ye k zindagi ke har shi'aba me apne khaaliq, Maalik-o-Raaziq-e-kaaynaat ke hukm ke mutaabiq zindagi guzaarne waale ban sakte hain. Agar ham Rozah ke is aham maqsad ko samjhen aur jo quwwat aur taaqat Rozah deta hai usko lene ke liye tayyaar hon aur rozah ki madad se apne andar Khauf-e-khuda aur itaa'at amr ki sifat ko nish-o-numaa dene ki koshish karen to Maah-e-Ramzaan Ham me itna taqwaa paida kar sakta hai k sirf ramzaan hi me nahi balki uske ba'ad bhi 11 maheeno me zindagi ki shahraah par khaar-daar jhaadiyon se apne daaman ko bachaate hue chal saken. Allaah Ta'aala ham sabko rozah ke is aham maqsad ko apni zindagi me laane waala banaaye. Aameen.
2-GUNAAHON SE MAGHFIRAT
Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ka mash'-hoor-o-ma'aroof farmaan hai: Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ne irshaad farmaaya k jisne imaan ke saath sawaab ki niyat se ya'ani khaalistan Allaah ki khushnudi haasil karne ke liye Rozah rakha uske guzashta tamaam (chhote) gunaah muaaf farmaa diye jaate hain. Ek martaba Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ne sahaaba-e-karaam se irshaad farmaaya k mimbar ke qareeb ho jaao , Sahaaba-e-karaam qareeb ho gaye, Jab Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ne mimbar ke pehle darje par qadam-e-mubaarak rakha to farmaaya Aameen. Aap S.A.W. ne irshaad farmaaya : Us waqt Jibraeel A.S. mere saamne aaye the Jab pehle darje me maine qadam rakha to unhone kahaa Halaak ho woh shakhs jisne Ramzaan ka Mubaarak maheena paaya phir bhi uski maghfirat na ho saki , Maine kaha Aameen.
Phir jab doosre darje par chadhaa to Unhone kahaa Halaak ho woh shakhs jiske saamne Aap S.A.W. ka zhikr-e-mubaarak ho aur woh durood na bheje.Maine kaha Aameen.

Gharz ye k kis qadar fikr-o-afsos ki baat hai k Maah-mubaarak ke qeemti awqaat bhi ghaflat aur mu'aasi me guzaar diye jaayen jisse saabqa gunaahon ki maghfirat bhi na ho saki lihaaza hame ramzaan ke ek -ek lamhe ki hifaazat karni chahiye aisa na ho k ham Hazrat Jibraeel A.S. aur Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ki is duaa ke tehat daakhil ho jaayen.
Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ne irshaad farmaaya : k Ramzaan ki aakhiri raat me rozah-daaron ki maghfirat kar di jaati hai . Sahaaba-e-karaam ne arz kiya k kya ye Shab-e-maghfirat ,Shab-e-Qadar hi to nahi hai?
Aap S.A.W. ne irshaad farmaaya ; Nahi, balki dastoor ye hai k mazdoor ka kaam khatm hote hi use mazdoori de di jaati hai. Ma'aloom hua k hame Eid ki raat me bhi A'amaal-e-saaliha ka silsila jaari rakhna chahiye taaki ramzaan me ki gyi ibaadaton ka bhar-poor ajr-o-sawaab mil sake.
3-QURB-E-ILAAHI
Rozah-daar ko Allaah Ta'aala ka khaas qurb haasil hota hai. Rozah ke muta'alliq Hadees-e-qudsi me Allaah Ta'aala ka irshaad hai:k Mai khud hi rozah ka badla hun. (Saheeh Bukhaari)
Isse zyaadah Allaah ka kya Qurb hoga k Allaah Jall-e-Shaanah khud hi roze ka badla hai.Neez Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ka irshaad hai k 3 shakhs ki duaa radd nahi hoti hai , in 3 ashkhaas me se ek rozah-daar ki iftaar ke waqt ki duaa hai . Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ne irshaad farmaaya k khud Allaah Tabaarak-o-Ta'aala aur uske farishte sehri khaane waalon par Rehmat naazil farmaate hain.
4-IND-UL-LAAH AJR-E-AZEEM KA HUSOOL
Is barkaton ke maheene me har nek amal ka ajr-o-sawaab badha diya jaata hai .Allaah Tabaarak-o-Ta'aala ne har Amal-e-khair ka duniya me hi ajar bataa diya k kis amal par kya milega magar rozah ke muta'alliq Hadees qudsi me Allaah Ta'aala irshaad farmaata hai :

ROZAH KI QISMEN
Rozah ki mandarja-zel qisme hain:
1-FARZ-E-MU'AYYAN:- Saal bhar me ek maah ya'ani Ramzaan-ul-Mubaarak ke roze har baaligh mard-o-Aurat par farz-e-mu'ayyan hain. iska inkaar karne waala kaafir hai aur baghair uzar tark karne waala faasiq aur sakht gunaah-gaar hai.
2-FARZ-E-GHAIR MU'AYYAN:- Agar Ramzaan-ul-Mubaarak ke roze kisi uzar ya mehez ghaflat se reh jaayen to unki qazaa rakhna farz hai.Qazaa ke ye roze farz-e-ghair mu'ayyan hain ya'ani jab mouqa'a ho musalsal ya naaghah karke rakh len lekin behtar yahi hai k jald-az-jald rakh len.
3-WAAJIB MU'AYYAN:-Kisi khaas din ya khaas taareekhon ke roze rakhne ki nazar ya'ani mannat maanne se us din ya un taareekhon ke roze waajib mu'ayyan ho jaate hain k unka usi din ya un hi taareekhon me rakhna waajib hai.
4-WAAJIB GHAIR MU'AYYAN- Kaffarah ke roze aur ghair mu'ayyan nazar ke roze waajib ghair mu'ayyan hain maslan kisi shakhs ne kaha k mera falaan kaam ho gaya to mai 3 roze rakhunga to is kaam ke hone par use 3 roze rakhne honge lekin woh ye 3 roze kabhi bhi rakh sakta hai.
5-MASNOON-O-NAFLI ROZE- Jin dino ke roze Rasoolullaah S.A.W. ne rakhe hain ya jinke roze rakhne ki targheeb di hai unhen masnoon ya nafli roze kahaa jaata hai aur inke rakhne ka bada ajr-o-sawaab hai.

Nabi-e-Akram S.A.W. Sha'abaan ke maheene me kasrat se roze rakhte the. (Bukhaari)
Aap S.A.W. ka taqreeban Sha'abaan ka poora Maah Rozah me guzarta tha.
15VI SHA'ABAAN KE ROZAH ke muta'alliq ulema-e-karaam ke aqwaal mukhtalif hain k is din rozah rakhne ki koi khaas fazeelat hai ya nahi.
PEER AUR JUME'ARAAT KE DIN KA ROZAH
Rasoolullaah S.A.W. khud bhi peer aur jume'araat ka rozah rakhte the aur Sahaaba-e-karaam Rz. ko bhi iski targheeb dete the . Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ka irshaad hai k peer aur jume'araat ko a'amaal Darbaar-e-Ilaahi me paish kiye jaate hain aur mai ye chahta hun k jab mere a'amaal Allaah ke saamne paish hon to mai rozah se rahun. MAKROOH ROZE
Mandarja-zel roze makrooh hain:
1-Sirf juma'a ya hafte ke din ka rozah rakhna. (Albatta ooper zhikr kiye gaye masnoon roze in dino me rakhe jaa sakte hain.)
2-Aurat ka shohar ki ijaazat ke baghair nafli roze rakhna.
3-Sha'abaan ke aakhiri chand ayyaam me roze rakhna.

1-Eid-ul-Fitr ke din
2-Eid-ul-Azhaa ke din

Allaah, Allaah kaisa Azeem-ush-shaan amal hai k uska badla saaton aasmaano aur zameeno ko paida karne waala khud ataa karega ya Woh Khud iska badla hai . Rozah me umooman ria ka pehlu deegar a'amaal ke muqaable me kam hota hai isiliye Allaah Ta'aala ne rozah ko apni taraf mansoob karke farmaaya: "الصٓومُ لِى ya'ani Rozah mere liye hai .
Lihaaza hame Maah-e-Ramzaan ki qadar karni chahiye k din me rozah rakhen , panch-waqta Namaaz ki paabandi karen kyonki imaan ke ba'ad sabse zyaadah taakeed Qur-aan-o-Hadees me Namaaz ke muta'alliq waarid hui hai.
Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ki aakhiri wasiyat bhi Namaaz ke ahtamaam ki hi hai. Kal qayaamat ke din sabse pehla sawaal Namaaz hi ke muta'alliq hoga Namaaz Taraaweeh padhen aur agar mouqa mil jaaye to chand rak'aat raat ke aakhiri hisse me bhi adaa kar len . Farz namaazon ke alaawaah Namaaz tahajjud ka zhikr Allaah Ta'aala ne muta'addid martaba farmaaya hai.
Ramzaan ke aakhri ashrah me tahajjud padhne ka ahtamaam karen kyonki Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ke aqwaal-o-af'aal ki roshni me Ummat-e-Muslima ka ittafaaq hai k Lailat-ul-Qadr Ramzaan ke aakhri ashrah me paayi jaati hai jisme ibaadat karne ko Allaah Ta'aala ne Hazaar Maheeno ya'ani poori zindagi ki ibaadat se zyaadah afzal qaraar diya hai. isi aham raat ki ibaadat ko haasil karne ke liye 2 hijri me Ramzaan ke roze ki farziyat ke ba'ad se Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. hamesha aakhri ashrah ka e'atikaaf farmaaya karte the. Allaah Ta'aala ham sabko is Mubaarak maah ki qadar karne waala banaaye aur Shab-e-qadar me ibaadat karne ki taufeeq ataa farmaaye.
Jis tarah ham rozah me khaane-peene aur jinsi shahwat ke kaamon se Allaah Ta'aala ke hukm ki wajah se ruke rehte hain isi tarah hamaari poori zindagi Allaah Tabaarak-o-Ta'aala ke ahkaam ke mutaabiq honi chahiye , Hamaari rozi ,roti aur hamaara libaas halaal ho , Hamaari zindagi ka tareeqa Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. aur Sahaaba-e-karaam waala ho taaki hamaari rooh hamaare jism se is haal me juda ho k hame , hamaare waalidain aur saare ins-o-jinn ka paida karne waala hamse raazi-o-khush ho . Daarfaani se Daar-e-baqaa ki taraf kooch ke waqt agar hamaara Moula hamse Raazi-o-khush hai to insha'a Allaah hamesha-hamesha ki kaamyaabi hamaare liye muqaddar hogi k uske ba'ad kabhi bhi naa-kaami nahi hai.

Lihaaza hame Maah-e-Ramzaan ki qadar karni chahiye k din me rozah rakhen , panch-waqta Namaaz ki paabandi karen kyonki imaan ke ba'ad sabse zyaadah taakeed Qur-aan-o-Hadees me Namaaz ke muta'alliq waarid hui hai.
Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ki aakhiri wasiyat bhi Namaaz ke ahtamaam ki hi hai. Kal qayaamat ke din sabse pehla sawaal Namaaz hi ke muta'alliq hoga Namaaz Taraaweeh padhen aur agar mouqa mil jaaye to chand rak'aat raat ke aakhiri hisse me bhi adaa kar len . Farz namaazon ke alaawaah Namaaz tahajjud ka zhikr Allaah Ta'aala ne muta'addid martaba farmaaya hai.
Ramzaan ke aakhri ashrah me tahajjud padhne ka ahtamaam karen kyonki Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. ke aqwaal-o-af'aal ki roshni me Ummat-e-Muslima ka ittafaaq hai k Lailat-ul-Qadr Ramzaan ke aakhri ashrah me paayi jaati hai jisme ibaadat karne ko Allaah Ta'aala ne Hazaar Maheeno ya'ani poori zindagi ki ibaadat se zyaadah afzal qaraar diya hai. isi aham raat ki ibaadat ko haasil karne ke liye 2 hijri me Ramzaan ke roze ki farziyat ke ba'ad se Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. hamesha aakhri ashrah ka e'atikaaf farmaaya karte the. Allaah Ta'aala ham sabko is Mubaarak maah ki qadar karne waala banaaye aur Shab-e-qadar me ibaadat karne ki taufeeq ataa farmaaye.
Jis tarah ham rozah me khaane-peene aur jinsi shahwat ke kaamon se Allaah Ta'aala ke hukm ki wajah se ruke rehte hain isi tarah hamaari poori zindagi Allaah Tabaarak-o-Ta'aala ke ahkaam ke mutaabiq honi chahiye , Hamaari rozi ,roti aur hamaara libaas halaal ho , Hamaari zindagi ka tareeqa Huzoor-e-Akram S.A.W. aur Sahaaba-e-karaam waala ho taaki hamaari rooh hamaare jism se is haal me juda ho k hame , hamaare waalidain aur saare ins-o-jinn ka paida karne waala hamse raazi-o-khush ho . Daarfaani se Daar-e-baqaa ki taraf kooch ke waqt agar hamaara Moula hamse Raazi-o-khush hai to insha'a Allaah hamesha-hamesha ki kaamyaabi hamaare liye muqaddar hogi k uske ba'ad kabhi bhi naa-kaami nahi hai.
